Jennifer was eleven years old when she fell off her bike, resulting in a skull fracture and traumatic brain injury. She died several times on the way to the hospital and remained in a coma for a week. During her death experiences, she describes an ineffable state that transcends ordinary language and consciousness. She experienced a profound sense of completeness and understanding of everything, where all questions were answered on a different level of existence. She likened the experience to being both a molecule of water in the sea while simultaneously being the entire ocean. There was a complete absence of the restrictions and limitations of physical embodiment. She passed through a living, pulsating tunnel that felt like a birthing canal, leading to an incredibly bright but loving light that felt maternal. The experience was characterized by overwhelming peace, all-knowing awareness, and unity with the universe. Time became irrelevant as all time was known simultaneously. Upon awakening from her coma, despite poor short-term memory, she clearly remembered being angry with her mother, blaming her for making her return to physical life.
