On December 5, 1979, Traveler experienced an NDE following a severe car accident where she lost half the blood in her body and flatlined. She had to sign for her own emergency surgery, with the signature appearing as only a wavy line due to her critical condition. The experience occurred while in intermediary care after leaving intensive care.
During the NDE, her higher consciousness was near the ceiling, aware that her mother and another female were at the foot of her bed, though she was unconcerned with them. She had no body awareness and knew she was near death. A beautiful spiritual entity enveloped and embraced her with indescribable love and peace. She felt connected to ALL - experiencing total peace where everything made sense. The warmth, unconditional love, and heightened knowledge were overwhelming. She understood that everything had a purpose, from an ant to a human - all was one and connected. She didn't wonder about anything and was at total peace. Everything about the universe made sense in that moment. The experience opened her mind profoundly, leading her to pursue two master's degrees and conduct research on trans-cultural NDEs. She developed an insatiable thirst for knowledge and blended Eastern philosophical beliefs with her Protestant faith. Since the experience, she has noticed increased synchronicities and meaningful number patterns appearing frequently, especially during difficult times as reminders of the spiritual world's presence. She can sense when someone will be receptive to hearing about her NDE and feels cold chills in a positive way when sharing it. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The spiritual being's unconditional love reflects God's nature described in 1 John 4:8. The understanding of universal connection echoes Acts 17:28 "in Him we live and move and have our being." The transformative effect leading to spiritual seeking aligns with biblical transformation through divine encounter. Unbiblical elements: The emphasis on "ALL" being connected and oneness with everything, including ants, suggests pantheistic rather than biblical worldview. Blending Eastern philosophy with Christianity and focus on synchronicities shows departure from biblical orthodoxy.
