At 6 weeks old, Olivia had severe flu with high fever and dehydration. Being driven to the hospital by her father with her sister holding her, she experienced leaving her body with a "whoosh" sensation and floated at the car ceiling behind her father's head. She saw the bright dashboard lights and through the car seats to see herself as a bundle on her sister's lap. She could feel everyone's emotions - her father's tremendous fear and her sister's concern. When her sister said "Dad!! I think she's GONE!!" her father pulled over and leaned to check her. She then felt another whoosh and was back in her body, opening her eyes to see her father's upside-down face. Years later, her sister confirmed all details including wearing a white babushka with black polka dots, exactly as Olivia had seen. Doctors said it was a miracle she survived.
