On November 11, 2011, the morning after experiencing a miscarriage, Marica fainted twice consecutively. During the second fainting episode, she found herself within a tunnel of warm, welcoming yellow light that wasn't blinding. She felt she was part of this light that transmitted happiness to her. The tunnel extended about 50-60 centimeters above her. At the end of the tunnel, she sensed the presence of her children who had died in the miscarriage the previous day. She began running to reach them but felt held back, as if being sucked backward like in a syringe plunger vacuum. She was then cast into blackness and returned to her body. Upon regaining consciousness, she heard voices and learned her blood pressure had spiked to 180 bpm during the experience, likely when she was running in the tunnel. For about two hours afterward, she retained feelings of serenity, well-being, and happiness. The experience left her yearning to return to that dimension beyond the tunnel threshold. She now has certainty about life after death and feels her deceased children were awaiting her. The experience has led to increased meditation, energetic realignment practices, and deeper spiritual understanding within her Buddhist faith.
