While unconscious from strangulation, she maintained awareness of these environmental and entity details. Her husband confirmed the extended period of unconsciousness, providing external validation of the life-threatening nature of the event. Following the experience, Cortney embarked on a spiritual journey seeking answers about life after death and consciousness. She began experiencing synchronicities and paranormal awareness including UFO sightings and sensing non-human beings.
