Laurent was in a motorcycle accident in Paris where a car hit his stomach, fracturing his liver, spleen, and solar plexus. He suffered for three hours before getting an x-ray. When a nurse insisted he stand for the lung x-ray despite his exhaustion, he tried to comply but collapsed. In that moment, he found himself far away in a white, luminous, infinite, and peaceful immensity, floating and serene with a sense of omniscience. He had never felt as happy as during that experience. The sensation included having infinite knowledge - philosophical, scientific, and wisdom. He felt he understood everything about how life and the universe were arranged. An unknown duration later, he returned when an elderly nurse was slapping him awake with deep concern on her face. Upon return, his breathing normalized, trembling stopped, and the shock symptoms disappeared. The experience left him with lasting serenity and enhanced intuitive abilities. Since then, he senses things that didn't manifest before - sensations, intuitions, and an inner voice. He also feels the permanent presence of three deceased loved ones near him and has developed a conviction about the existence of an afterlife dimension.
