Tilda underwent surgery to remove a cyst in her saliva gland. While in recovery after the operation, she stopped breathing. During this time, she was floating and being propelled forward through a vast expanse of dark space. She was surrounded by incredible love, peace, and joy. The darkness was complete but the emotional experience was overwhelming.
She heard an annoying sound that she wanted to go away because she wanted to be left in peace. The sound persisted and grew louder, causing anxiety. She eventually realized it was a person's voice telling her to breathe. This "woke" her and she returned to existence, feeling very disappointed at having to return. The experience propelled her spiritual quest into action. She spent years helping and teaching others about the wonders beyond this world, feeling an urgency that time was short.
