Jeffrey, at age 19, attempted suicide by taking several bottles of drugs with rum after discovering his girlfriend was cheating with his best friend. His mother called an ambulance, and he lost consciousness before reaching the hospital. He was clinically dead for six minutes during the emergency room resuscitation attempts. During his death, Jeffrey experienced one of the most extensive and detailed NDEs on record, involving multiple realms and beings.
Jeffrey's experience began with an out-of-body experience where he witnessed the medical team trying to resuscitate him. He saw the doctor performing chest compressions and remarkably jumped into the doctor's consciousness, experiencing the doctor's panic and seeing visions of the doctor's wife, children, and car. He observed his mother standing in the doorway with her arms crossed. Blue and green angelic beings then pulled him into a column of light and transported him through a tunnel to heaven's gate. He was placed in a room with cloud walls where he encountered his deceased grandmother and other spirits. A young girl spirit took him on journeys showing him his past, the people affected by his death, and potential futures. The experience included visits to hell, where Jeffrey witnessed customized torments for souls and encountered demonic beings with jackal faces. He was shown a platform in space with cube-shaped personal hells for each soul. He experienced purgatory as a dark cave where souls waited in terror. Throughout these experiences, he gained specific knowledge about cosmic arrangements, soul contracts made before birth, and his own pre-birth planning. He encountered Jesus, Mary, and other religious figures who explained the nature of existence and his purpose. Jeffrey returned to his body after Jesus asked him to give Him a chance to make things right. He was in a coma for three days following the resuscitation. During this time, he felt a warm hand holding his and saw a young girl with long brown hair, though nurses confirmed no young visitors had been allowed in the ICU. The experience included prophetic visions of his future that later came true, including breaking his back at a specific age. The transformation was profound, changing him from an alcoholic drug dealer to someone who worked in security and developed psychic sensitivities.
