Sara tripped entering her house, fell and banged her knees. When her father helped her stand quickly, she felt buzzing in her ears and everything went dark. She found herself outside her body watching her parents try to revive her - her mother attempting to wake her and father shouting her name. She then traveled at tremendous speed through the walls of their house and neighboring houses, able to see into each room. Upon reaching the street, she observed a friend passing by with his dog. She arrived at a park, then felt herself traveling at high speed into nothingness and emptiness. Frightened, she shouted "NOOOO!" but heard a reverberating voice command her to "Go back." She returned to her body screaming for her parents not to let her go. Her mother reported she had been unconscious for over 30 minutes. On the way to the hospital, when they turned the corner, Sara saw the same friend with his dog dressed exactly as she had seen during her OBE, including a new shirt she could not have known about. The experience led to precognitive dreams and increased belief in an afterlife.
