Eight-year-old Robin was abducted from the US and taken to Africa during the Rhodesian Bush War in 1977. After being separated from her kidnapper, she was taken in by a local tribe who cared for her as family. During a guerrilla attack near the village, Robin was shot in the head while playing. The bullet grazed the top of her head causing severe blood loss and shock. As she began dying, she separated from her body and saw her African adoptive mother holding her and trying to stop the bleeding. Robin passed through a dark cave and tunnel with living walls, encountering five different beings who helped purify her trauma and guide her toward acceptance and love. She met a Jesus-like figure who showed her the interconnection of all living things through a web of light. She experienced a profound understanding of universal connection and divine love. Her African mother's singing called her back from the other side, reminding her of her purpose to sing her medicine song to others. Robin chose to return despite the difficulty, coming back through veils of light into her body.
