Debbie experienced a winter virus with projectile vomiting that led to respiratory failure when she couldn't breathe. After passing out outside her home, she had an out-of-body experience where she felt wrapped in stifling cotton bandages that she fought to remove. Upon leaving her body, she found herself on a bridge overlooking a beautiful golden harbor city. Two guides were with her who showed her two books - one reviewing her life and another about the cosmos. During her life review, she discovered that acts done with pure love and empathy mattered most, not external recognition. She became aware that the light around her was conscious and made of pure love, understanding that we all belong to this light. Her deceased mother-in-law appeared with an unknown young boy with dark curly hair, telling her firmly to go back. She immediately returned to her body, struggling to breathe with a swollen throat. The experience profoundly impacted her understanding of love and purpose.
