Cheryl experienced anaphylactic shock after eating raw seaweed salad and sushi at a casino restaurant. After just five bites of salad and two pieces of sushi, she felt uncomfortably full and disoriented. Her partner's voice distorted, the restaurant appeared slanted and elongated. Overwhelming nausea and explosive fullness made her release the third sushi piece. Her head became heavy and dropped. Managing to say "I think I need help" then "I need 911!" before her head fell for the last time.
The disorientation vanished as she began floating in absolute comfort, surrounded by warmth and brilliant yet gentle light that soothed her eyes. She was surrounded by love, peace, and all of time simultaneously - yesterday, tomorrow, today, everything and nothing. Recognizing this place from when she was three years old, she thought "I am home!" but noticed a golden dome of fine mist threads wasn't present this time. Children's voices chanted "Stay with us!" from an unknown realm. She was immersed in shimmering mist. Hovering at the edge of no return, she could choose to stay or go back. Time doesn't exist there - all humanity calls time is present in the oneness. Remembering her recent words to her partner "I have no intention of abandoning you," she chose to keep her word and returned. She moved back into her paralyzed body in a neutral black void, hearing distant voices through a tunnel. After struggling through thick viscous gel to respond, she was in and out of consciousness. The experience gave her understanding that consciousness opens to a new reality always present but previously invisible. She gained certainty that everyone needs at least one NDE for world peace and paradigm shifts, through practices like meditation or nature contemplation. Since this second NDE (first at age 3), she can meditate much deeper with enlightening experiences.
