Eight-year-old Bub developed severe headache, nausea, and dizziness while driving with her father and brother to a wrestling match. Despite her symptoms, they attended the event for 2-3 hours. On the return trip, she and her brother fell asleep in the car. Both children were suffering from severe carbon monoxide poisoning from the vehicle's exhaust leak, though the father was unaware of the danger.
She found herself outside her body, watching from above as her father and his girlfriend frantically pulled their unconscious bodies from the car and tried to revive them. She attempted to communicate but her father couldn't hear her. She felt no fear, only observation. A beautiful bright light appeared as a dot and expanded, filling her with overwhelming love - a love she has never felt since. As the light grew larger, her father's voice became more distant. The light consumed her, pushing away darkness until only a speck remained where her father worked on her body. Beings she didn't know but felt loved by surrounded her, with one main male figure waiting for her. Behind him was an indescribably beautiful place. When told she was dying, she initially didn't understand until comparing it to animals that don't return. She asked to go back to her father and the being said it was okay to turn around. She returned to her body, feeling her father holding her, but couldn't wake up immediately. It took several minutes of struggle to open her eyes. Her father kept both children awake all night, afraid they wouldn't wake again. Despite the severity of poisoning that should have killed them, both children miraculously survived without hospitalization.
