Nathan L was having drinks with a friend at a bar, then went to the car to leave. After sitting in the car, he lost consciousness and went 26 minutes without a heartbeat. He floated above his body watching as he was carried into his parents' home and given CPR. He observed his mother in tears and complete disarray while family members took turns performing CPR. When paramedics arrived, they cut off his shirt while he was choking out blood and foaming at the mouth. He clearly remembers being shocked four times. From the ambulance, he watched them place tubes in him while feeling peaceful, warm and happy. At the hospital, he floated above as they rolled him onto his side and black liquid came out. He saw what everyone was wearing, where family members stood, and observed them praying in tears. He then saw a bright light in a field and encountered Jesus, who reached out, grabbed his hand, and told him "Don't be afraid." Jesus did the sign of the cross and said it wasn't his time. Nathan woke up on life support. Doctors said it was a miracle - he had less than 1% chance of living with brain death, and 0% chance of waking with nothing wrong. He told his parents detailed observations they confirmed as accurate. His faith was restored, he lost his fear of death, and gained closeness with animals, people and life. The experience brought his family closer and restored their faith.
