Mwila G underwent surgery on January 3, 2016, following a cancer diagnosis. During the surgical intervention at 7:25 AM, she heard a church song in Swahili, then the song stopped and she heard instruments being put down. A voice told her to "live your own experience." She found herself near the morgue facing a Catholic church, where she encountered a physician friend and pleaded with her to tell the surgical team to continue the operation. She saw the city of Lubumbashi from above and could read people's thoughts. She found herself at her church with extraordinary light and four young people, calling out to her pastor but receiving no response. She invoked God saying "Lord remember me, have pity of my daughter" before rising in a cloud of flowers. She returned to the surgery room, passing through the wall, and found her pastor there saying "I told you that this woman must live, go back to work." She saw her surgeon leave and return. Throughout, the same song played repeatedly while she danced in a hall of flowers. She walked through a dark city unable to recognize people, encountering a barrier with a man and child waiting. She was told she wouldn't be allowed through that door. The medical team confirmed she had been reanimated with CPR and the surgery had been interrupted. The experience gave her understanding that we must live in harmony with everyone and that there is an Eternal Supreme Being.
