Harold, a truck driver, experienced a stroke while driving on I-10 in Arizona on March 3, 1990. He managed to pull over as he felt intense nausea, confusion, and a deep sleep overtaking him. Fighting to stay conscious, he eventually passed out.
During his experience, Harold found himself entering a tunnel with bright, clear colors and detailed lines. He was fully alert and aware within the tunnel. At the end was a bright light. He heard a voice telling him "No, it's not your time yet... you have more to accomplish with your family." The voice indicated that family members would need his guidance, and indeed these predicted problems later became real. Harold lost 30-45 minutes of time that were unaccounted for. When he returned, he was staggering around after the experience. The event changed his perspective on life totally, and he looks at life differently now.
