In 1969/1970, eight-year-old Joseph experienced clinical death during surgery. He heard voices during the life-threatening event, then saw deceased beings and angels. After dying during surgery, he hovered above his body, observing medical staff trying to revive him. He was whisked through hospital floors and rooms, observing those attending his surgeries. He saw three others who had just passed over. Beings spoke encouraging words and warnings. Initially in a dark void and scared, they helped him rise. He separated from the scene, going through ceilings into the sky and orbit. Two angels struggled with his weight, then handed him to Jesus. In heaven for about three hours, Joseph saw angels and God, who communicated directly and through an angel. He saw biblical people he hadn't yet learned about, including Enoch whom he mistook for Moses. During his life review in a court setting, he was shown his life, sins, love, and forgiveness of others. He cried for his sins in shame and repentance. He saw his physical body being healed. He returned as orderlies were wheeling him to the morgue incinerator, waking up crying just before disposal. The experience included extensive interaction with God, Jesus, angels, and biblical figures, with detailed life review and divine communication.
