Jeanne developed mysterious burns covering 98% of her body with 2nd and 3rd degree burns after minimal sun exposure. She was hospitalized in isolation and died three times over three months. During her first death, she was initially scared and found herself observing medical staff working on her body. She was shown a negative place and pleaded not to be there, then floated down a mother-of-pearl path with indescribable colors. During subsequent deaths, she visited beautiful buildings including a glittering library with ancient but sparkle-new structures. On her third death, she was taken to a viewing room where spiritual beings showed her son Brian and told her she needed to return to care for a son named Adam, though she had no son by that name. Three years later, despite being on strong birth control, she had a son and named him Adam. Each return to her body felt like being vacuumed back against her will. Medical staff could never determine the cause of her burn-like condition. The experience left her with enhanced psychic abilities and the ability to see when people would die.
