On July 30, 2015, Frank felt light-headed and passed out, hitting the floor. His heart flat-lined and he received CPR for approximately two minutes before recovery. After a brief moment of darkness, he found himself in a large open space with a pure white background and glow. He was floating without awareness of a body, moving toward a group of out-of-focus people in regular clothing. One person was yelling "You're not supposed to be here" while he was still at a distance. Then suddenly he became aware of his surroundings, watching the gentleman giving him CPR and hearing his wife saying "Please don't leave me!" Upon waking, he felt very alert, warm, calm, and at peace. The experience transformed his beliefs and feelings profoundly. Frank now knows with certainty that God exists and there is life after death. He doesn't feel compelled to proclaim it publicly but feels comfortable with his experience. He expressed a wish to understand his purpose for remaining alive. The pure white light's intensity was striking yet soft, and despite the people being out of focus, he could hear them clearly saying he wasn't meant to be there yet. The experience left him with incredible peace and joy, no longer in conflict with nature. While he maintains his Protestant Christian faith, he hasn't found a church where he feels comfortable. The NDE strengthened his religious and spiritual feelings significantly, though he's still searching for the right venue to practice his enhanced faith.
