Scott experienced a traumatic widow-maker heart attack with his LAD completely blocked, arresting three times for a total of 28 minutes. While being treated in the emergency room, he floated above his body and observed the medical team working on him in complete dimensional awareness. He saw someone intubating him, nurses placing IVs, and staff performing catheter procedures for stents. Most remarkably, he felt his surgeon's awareness of his presence hovering over his left shoulder, which the surgeon later confirmed. Scott traveled through a vast meadow with rolling plains and encountered his deceased grandparents, who appeared younger and wearing Hawaiian-style clothing. His grandmother explained this was where all go when they die, emphasizing that earthly suffering is for our time on earth, not the afterlife. Scott was shown the universe filled with strings of light representing all consciousness, each carrying DNA-like memories from conception through all time. He witnessed stars being born and dying, galaxies spinning, and understood the universal connection of all life. A brilliant source light, which Scott recognized as God, told him it wasn't his time and he must return. The surgeon later asked if Scott wanted an attorney, admitting procedural mistakes caused his 2 minute 17 second clinical death. Scott drew accurate diagrams of the medical procedures he witnessed while out of body, astounding the medical team.
