Debra fell backward off a loading dock, striking her head on concrete below. She immediately left her body and found herself in a tunnel looking out through a round window or opening. From this vantage point, she could see her husband holding her physical body, telling her not to go, to stay, and come back. She felt no pain while out of body, experiencing both peace and fear simultaneously. Her visual perception was altered - everything appeared in black, white, and gray tones with no color. She made a conscious decision to return, thinking she needed to go back for her husband and wanting to ensure she could move her fingers and toes to verify she wasn't paralyzed. Upon willing herself back, she was instantly drawn into her body and immediately felt intense pain. Her husband later confirmed her eyes had been open in a dead stare without blinking during the experience.
