At age 7, Deborah was playing at a dock with her brothers when she began drowning after grabbing a ski that sank. She left her body and experienced a profound life review through a binder with metal rings that showed everything she had done wrong, moving at incredible speed. She was being judged for her actions, feeling remorse for each transgression shown. She then flew quickly through a wormhole-like tunnel with grayish clouds and saw a light at the end. She observed what appeared to be her deceased aunt floating toward the light. Though experiencing the peace of the other side, she was pushed back by an unseen force. She awoke on the beach with her brothers performing resuscitation. The experience left her knowing death and judgment are real, fundamentally changing her spiritual understanding and making her more compassionate toward others.
