Rob experienced three separate clinical deaths between 2005 and 2014. The first occurred on August 15, 2005, when he suffered a massive heart attack at home. After experiencing severe heartburn, shortness of breath, and clear bile vomiting, he collapsed on the bathroom floor. Paramedics resuscitated him, but he was clinically dead with documented cardiac arrest. He was in a coma for four days following the event.
During his first death, Rob entered a cloud-like tunnel moving toward a parallel universe, surrounded by shadows he later recognized as deceased loved ones. He experienced intense peace, perfect warmth like being held by an angel, overwhelming love multiplied thousands of times beyond earthly experience, and an irresistible pull toward home in Heaven. He saw his deceased father, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, all appearing young. He witnessed incredible glistening towers and buildings with inviting colors. During resuscitation in the ER, he observed from the upper corner of the room, seeing about twenty medical staff working on his body below. His second death in April 2012 involved bleeding out internally with hemoglobin dropping to 4.9, requiring emergency surgery. He experienced a different transition through a brighter tunnel to a large hall with souls helping others through traumatic transitions. His third death in October 2014 occurred during surgery when his blood pressure dropped and heart stopped, requiring chest compressions and open-heart massage. Rob made specific observations including seeing medical staff from above the emergency room, noting approximately twenty people in scrubs and white coats working frantically to revive him. He described the detailed medical procedures and could recall specific medical terminology used by paramedics. His wife witnessed his second death, seeing him turn gray and shake as his heart stopped, with medical staff calling for the crash cart. These experiences transformed Rob completely, eliminating his fear of death and giving him absolute certainty about the afterlife. He now knows that deceased loved ones await us, that Heaven is real, and that death is simply a transition home. He actively shares his experiences to comfort others who have lost loved ones.
