On November 27, 2015, Dave M awoke with severe chest pain and recognized he was having a heart attack. He called 911 (first call was digital noise, second succeeded) and gave his address. Paramedics arrived in 4 minutes. After they began treatment, his arms went numb and he jumped off the bed onto the carpet, not remembering hitting the floor. His heart stopped for approximately 15 seconds. During this time, he found himself surrounded by green mist or fog in low light, feeling no pain in a surreal, pleasant place. He was conscious but seemed to be elsewhere, unable to see paramedics. He said aloud "I'm dead" and heard a pleasant woman's voice confirm "Yes." Though his heart stopped for only 15 seconds, he felt he was there for 20 minutes, experiencing time dilation. His spirit body felt different - he could move from waist up but legs seemed heavy and immobile. He felt no pain and experienced pleasant, surreal sensations. Initially torn between staying in the pleasant space and returning, he felt it wasn't his time and reached out his arm. He then entered a dream state before being revived. He awoke to paramedics saying "Sir, you just had a heart attack and your heart stopped." He underwent surgery for blocked main artery, receiving two stents. The experience provided him 100% certainty that consciousness continues after bodily death. He became more compassionate and nicer to people, trying not to let small things bother him. He clearly remembers every detail and shares his experience openly, knowing some believe while others are skeptical.
