Mark was deeply depressed after being rejected by his fiancée and struggling with drug addiction. While listening to music about hope, feeling utterly alone despite praying, he attempted suicide by throwing himself headfirst onto the corner of his desk. The impact hit directly between his eyes and bounced him back onto his bed. Immediately, he heard intense ringing in his ears like after a loud blast, followed by a continuous thundering sound like a jet engine. With his eyes closed, he could see his room's ceiling and found himself moving through a tunnel with rolling clouds and cold bluish light behind them. The tunnel was lit at the end with gray storm-cloud appearance. When he questioned if this was an acid flashback, he received a telepathic "No" and instantly knew he was dying. Upon saying "Jesus, I'm not ready yet," everything reversed and he returned to his body. The experience completely transformed his life - he got off drugs, became deeply spiritual, and developed prophetic gifts.
