In September 2012, Marcel experienced an aortic rupture and was rushed to intensive care with dangerously high blood pressure (240/180). During his ICU stay, he had multiple near-death experiences where he repeatedly approached a white curtain that emanated warmth, peace, harmony and love. Behind the curtain, he saw silhouettes of people in loving communion. Each time he felt drawn to cross over, he would hear ringing bowls and be pulled back to his body. Marcel heard what he believed was staff conversation and music through an intercom, though staff later denied any such equipment existed. During his experiences, he felt completely free from physical and spiritual pain. He was told by a presence that he could pass over but also had the option to stay. After returning home, Marcel went through a profound spiritual transformation, experiencing deep isolation at first but eventually finding peace. The experience led to significant spiritual growth and understanding of cosmic laws.
