Amber was in a serious car accident with her boyfriend Marty driving. After treatment at a local emergency facility, she was transported to a larger hospital due to serious injuries including many broken bones. That evening in the hospital, with her father and boyfriend at the foot of her bed, she was unable to open her eyes or speak despite wanting to interact. She experienced being outside her body, observing from above, watching and listening from the corner of the wall and ceiling. She heard her father telling Marty she looked very ashen and expressing fear about losing her. She could feel all his fear, confusion, and frustration. She wanted to reassure him she was fine and felt no pain or fear. Her mother, a nurse at the hospital, was in the hallway having a loud, angry discussion with one of the doctors. Amber was there spiritually listening and witnessed her mother's frustration, fear, and concern. She felt overwhelming love and connection, understanding that we are all united. She experienced heightened awareness and could feel others' emotions directly, gaining understanding about universal connection and that love transcends all time and distance.
