Alan experienced severe chest pain for three days before walking six blocks through a blizzard to catch a bus to work on February 26, 2010. Despite multiple warning signs and opportunities to seek help, he persisted until collapsing on the bus from a massive heart attack. He died and experienced separation from his body, seeing himself with four arms and legs - one set physical and one translucent. His long-time guardian, a six-foot-tall tiger, appeared and showed him holographic images of past, present, and future events, particularly his daughters. Tiger explained that everyone has a choice at death with no judgment either way. Alan chose to return to life and was taken to a luminous misty place where three Beings appeared, including a Teacher described as an original child of God. He spent what felt like a day receiving teachings before returning to his body. Paramedics revived him and he was rushed to Hamilton General Hospital where surgeons found his left artery 100% blocked - a widow-maker heart attack he should not have survived. He awakened in ICU with new gifts and understanding about the nature of reality, consciousness, and the purpose of physical existence.
