She fought against death, not wanting her grandmother to find her body cold with eyes staring at the ceiling.
During the experience, she had an out-of-body experience seeing herself from the ceiling as her spirit gazed at her physical body preparing to die. She felt surrounded by lavender, purple, and indigo light in a comforting embrace. A being she identified as God or a Seraphim flew over her sleeping body saying in a loving voice, "I can't take you now honey, I'm sorry." She then experienced lucid dreams or hallucinations of being in a hospital paralyzed with family visiting. God's voice explained that sometimes suicide attempts result in vegetative states when it's not someone's time, and promised her life would be beautiful, that she wouldn't be homeless, and to trust in divine promises never to let her fall. No specific veridical observations were reported. Her visions included celestial energy with stars dancing and universes growing inside one another. She saw herself in the hospital with machines and family, but this was a vision rather than actual events. She woke with a sound mind as promised but was violently ill for three days.
