In 1973, three-year-old Kevin fell from his bed onto the sharp, upward-curved wooden leg of a rocking chair, likely striking his temple. The injury was severe enough to require emergency medical treatment and stitches. Despite his young age, Kevin retained vivid memories of the extraordinary experience that followed, though these memories would be suppressed and only fully return decades later. Upon impact, Kevin immediately left his body, observing himself hit the rocker from an outside perspective while thinking "That's going to really hurt."
A brilliant light then filled the room as the door opened and a magnificent female being entered, cradling Kevin in her arms like an infant. She radiated sweetness and love, dressed simply in brown or gray with long brown hair and brown eyes full of compassion. This angelic presence took him through the apartment building's roof and through space to the hospital. From above the operating table, Kevin observed his small body being prepared for treatment, noting specific medical details: a triangular restraining cloth that covered him diagonally but left his right shoulder exposed, and a strap across his head. He watched from multiple perspectives, even seeing his father getting coffee from a vending machine in the waiting area. The experience had profound long-term effects on Kevin's spiritual development. For years after, he had visions of having lived before and would see two women in 1940s clothing discussing someone's death in war. He wondered if he was connected to his uncle killed in Korea in 1950. Throughout childhood, he felt a constant struggle between good and evil in his mind and was convinced he had lived before and been granted this life as a "do-over." Though his family, especially his parents, dismissed his account of the female angel, Kevin insisted on this version of events. The experience's meaning crystallized when Kevin discovered Raymond Moody's "Life After Life" as a teenager. This began an intensive spiritual quest spanning multiple religions. Converting to Sufi Islam before 9/11, he now at age 43 integrates the teachings of all three Abrahamic faiths. Kevin experiences ongoing psychic phenomena including premonitions and the ability to sense good and evil in people. He occasionally hears his angelic guide's voice and feels her observing presence. His premonitory experiences have been remarkably accurate, including knowing a coworker would commit suicide the day before it happened.
