Following kidney surgery, Julia's blood pressure dropped to 5 and she lost consciousness while being rushed to ICU. She found herself in a large dark tunnel moving at incredible speed toward white light at the end. Emerging from the tunnel, she sat at its edge with legs dangling, surrounded by warm, peaceful light and hearing beautiful unearthly music. Groups of people in white approached from the left to welcome her - men, women, children of all ages. She looked for her deceased father, sister and grandmother but didn't see them. Then a tall being of light appeared from the right with a gentle, fatherly presence who told her it wasn't her time yet and she had things to do on earth. She was disappointed but accepted this and returned. She woke intubated in ICU.
