Juan Pablo had a severe allergic reaction to penicillin at the hospital. His hearing and throat shut down, he lost sight and became deaf. He began hearing the Act of Contrition prayer in his mind, which he had never learned before. He felt incredible peace and saw a child taking him by the hand to a bright place where many people in white were welcoming him. Just as he was about to join them, something pulled him back. The doctor said his heart had stopped. The experience transformed him from someone who hurt others to being compassionate. He can now sense when people are going to die. He spent 6 months in therapy afterward but now understands life with tranquility.
