Jim was on a business trip when he nearly passed out and was rushed to ICU with massive blood loss from a ruptured stomach growth. His blood pressure dropped to zero twice. During the first episode, he briefly went to a strange place. During the second episode, he looked through a multicolored mosaic window into a beautiful tropical garden with soft peaceful colors. An ICU professional allowed him to stay in that peaceful state and called him back when needed. He received a mental message that he had to return because there were things he still needed to do. The experience was entirely peaceful and made him unafraid of death.
