Rosemary experienced a heart attack while visiting an ailing cousin in Maryland in July 1997. She had been feeling stressed with a headache all day. Upon waking at 7am in her hotel, she felt she had visited a spiritual place, having gone through a tunnel with sepia-colored monk-like figures at the end. The experience brought her profound feelings of gentle beauty, complete love, happiness and comfort. She felt surrounded by utter peace but was told it wasn't her time yet, leading to her return. A week later, she was diagnosed with a myocardial infarction. The experience left her with no fear of death and certainty about meeting loved ones in the afterlife. She believes all of life is created from love and that God is not a punisher but a teacher of lessons.
