On April 3, 2014, Jeremiah underwent laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. He had a rare reaction to CO2 gas used to inflate the body cavity, causing his heart to stop. He went from being under anesthesia to instantly conscious in complete blackness, shooting through what felt like a hole torn in existence. Twelve feet in front of him stood an 8-9 foot tall, 6 foot wide being of bright white light with edges fading to cobalt blue. The being felt like a brother and best friend times 10,000, extremely humble and loving. Information flowed at the speed of thought with enhanced cognitive abilities. The being identified himself as Archangel Michael, saying "I can use you, you can work with me" as a servant of God. Michael explained God is everywhere, in everything - "God Is." Jeremiah sensed connection to billions of entities beyond Michael. Given the choice to continue or return, he felt two balls of light near his left breast - the souls of his wife and infant daughter - and felt overwhelming responsibility for their protection. He emphatically told Michael "There's no fucking way" he would leave them. Michael laughed lovingly and said "Ok." Jeremiah instantly awoke to a nurse saying his heart had stopped and was restarted with drugs in less than a minute.
