At age 16, Hannah was in a difficult place mentally and physically, using drugs frequently and eating very little, living in poverty. Despite her struggles, she had begun praying frequently and reading the Bible with massive curiosity about God and Jesus. After not eating for two or three days, she felt dizzy in the shower and fainted. She found herself sitting on a massive stone talking to a man near a waterfall in a beautiful natural garden. She experienced overwhelming love and reassurance while the man spoke to her for what felt like hours, though she doesn't remember his words except being shocked by some things. During the experience, she was herself but not "Hannah" - she knew herself but not her earthly identity. When the man said "It's time to go back now," she felt puzzled, not remembering earth until she felt pain on her shoulder. She then traveled through a tunnel seeing images of her life, regaining memories of earth. She awoke with her boyfriend calling her name and a burn on her shoulder from the hot water tap. The experience taught her there's a much bigger part of us than we're aware of, that Jesus/God emits feelings of love and peace, and that our true home is near them. She lost her fear of death but wants to live on earth, understanding that pain is the best reminder of earthly existence.
