Rachel was struck by a car as a pedestrian and thrown 65 feet. As the impact occurred, everything happened in slow motion - she was aware of every detail including hitting the windshield and flying through the air. When her body stopped sliding on the pavement, she "popped" out of her body and was pulled upward beyond her control. She experienced complete darkness while being pulled through buoyant barriers, then came upon an opening where she was greeted by 5-10 golden orbs that she felt she knew, like a reunion. She felt the most joy and ecstasy when they greeted her. One orb approached and showed her that she too was a golden orb by combining with her. She was then pulled back quickly into her body. Upon return, she heard a woman consoling her and telling her paramedics were on the way. The experience transformed her perspective on death and life, making her more loving and aware of love as the key to existence.
