Penny experienced anaphylactic shock from a fish allergy and was intubated, placed on a ventilator, and put in a medically induced coma for three days. During the coma, she experienced cycles between a dark void with intense pressure, a bright white light filled with vibration and connection to all beings, and awareness of her hospital room from above. In the light, she felt safe, wrapped in unconditional love, and aware that everyone who ever existed was connected there. She encountered a tall female warrior spirit adorned in bright light who protected her from dark entities by forcefully striking one that threatened her. She observed her body from above, saw medical staff responding to alarms, and witnessed conversations between her friend and son about medical decisions. She chose to return to her body despite preferring the light. Since returning, she has gained abilities to know things about strangers and can voluntarily leave her body to travel to spiritual realms.
