E.D. experienced a seizure while visiting friends, falling 7 feet and sustaining severe head and facial injuries. During multiple episodes of clinical death requiring CPR and defibrillation, she found herself in a terrifying void - a black square with white dots like space, with ear-piercing banging sounds getting closer. A voice repeatedly said "This is how it began and how it will end." She encountered demons and monsters trying to tear her apart until a male figure called her name and pulled her away. The experience cycled between the void and demon encounters. At the end, she saw a vision of a large war. She awoke two days later with no memory initially. The experience left her with severe PTSD, recurring nightmares, and deep confusion about why a Christian would experience such darkness. She continues to struggle with the traumatic nature of what she witnessed.
