Donna was driving home from work and took a scenic route when sudden fog appeared. She crashed into trees at 65 mph, possibly trying to avoid a recliner on the road. During her unconscious state, she floated through woods toward an open path, hearing unseen people laughing. She encountered a collective consciousness of many beings speaking as one, telling her it wasn't her time and she had one more thing to do. She experienced a profound sense of being in a void-like space that was cold, dark, and lonely. She awoke in the hospital with head injuries including stitches in her temple, experiencing amnesia for weeks. The experience left her with lasting feelings about the afterlife and a sense of purpose, though she still doesn't know what the "one more thing" she needs to do is.
