A young woman experienced a life-threatening event that required CPR administration, though not clinical death. She found herself in an abandoned park with old metal swings, bathed in warm sunlight with dominant green and yellow colors. The scene filled her with a profound sense of safety, warmth, and comfort. She was swinging with an unknown young man with brown hair, experiencing what she described as the best feeling in the world - total bliss.
The experience transitioned as she began walking down a dark tunnel that, despite its darkness, felt warm and cozy rather than frightening. She heard her mother calling her name from outside the experience. When she turned to look back at the beginning of the tunnel, she could see light streaming in from the park she had just left. She felt very upset about leaving this peaceful place and was about to complain to her mother about being taken away. Upon returning to consciousness, she immediately saw her mother's face and realized something was seriously wrong - she had been unconscious. The experience left her with lasting feelings of incredible peace and joy. She reported feeling harmony with nature and the universe during the experience. The return to normal consciousness was marked by her awareness of the medical emergency and her mother's concern. Despite the pleasant nature of the experience, she felt distressed about having to leave that peaceful realm. The experience occurred in February 2012 and has remained vivid in her memory.
