Michele was turning left at an intersection when she saw a Dodge Ram 3500 truck running a red light, barreling toward her. Knowing he wouldn't stop, she put her car in park just before impact. She heard and felt the loudest sound ever as the truck crashed into her. Immediately, she experienced being 8-10 feet tall, looking down at the dashboard and steering wheel from a much higher perspective than normal seated position. She heard/felt a voice asking if she wanted to go or leave, to which she responded indignantly that she had things to do and wasn't finished. The next thing she remembered was being back in her body, smelling something burning and seeing smoke in her car. She was able to unbuckle, exit the severely damaged vehicle, and sit on a nearby curb. The entire front of her car was completely smashed, yet the cabin remained intact. Bystanders stared in disbelief at her survival, and photos later confirmed no one could believe the cabin survived compared to the devastating front-end damage. This out-of-body experience during a severe collision included dialogue with an unseen presence about whether to depart this life.
