At age 9, Mich accidentally severed his main bicep artery when a glass jar broke. Blood was spurting three feet in the air as he ran toward his house. He collapsed unconscious from blood loss immediately upon reaching his mother. Despite being unconscious according to his mother, Mich experienced hovering above his body and watching himself being rushed through the emergency room. He saw himself on the surgery table from above, witnessed his mother hugging him before surgery, and observed the operating room in clear detail - all while completely unconscious. The doctors said it was a miracle he survived the massive blood loss. Years later, his mother confirmed he had been unconscious from the moment he collapsed until after surgery, yet his third-person observations of the emergency room journey and pre-surgery events were accurate. This out-of-body experience during a life-threatening hemorrhage left him with vivid memories of seeing himself from above throughout the medical crisis.
