Donna, a heroin addict, took a lethal dose and was clinically dead for over 20 minutes in 1983. She traveled through space at incredible speed, flying past planets and stars at warp speed. She arrived in a foggy place with several men seated at a table and a standing man she perceived as Jesus Christ. She was told many things about her life telepathically, though she cannot remember everything. She was told she had to go back and "get it right this time." She then found herself floating at the ceiling above her body, observing her children standing over her and her husband on the phone with 911. She heard everything he said. When she wondered how to get back into her body, she instantly returned to it as the ambulance arrived. She sent the ambulance away after answering questions, then confirmed with her husband what she had seen and heard while floating above. He confirmed she had no pulse, was blue, and his CPR attempts were unsuccessful before calling 911. Her second NDE (mentioned briefly) involved complete darkness and separation from the light, which motivated her to change her ways and get clean.
