Mik experienced a near-death out-of-body experience when his racing motorcycle crashed over a mountain ridge. The traumatic accident left him sprawled on the ground next to his overturned motorcycle.
During the experience, his consciousness floated high above the accident site. From this elevated vantage point, he observed his own body lying on the ground next to the motorcycle on its side. He watched as people walked up to the scene, stood, and looked at his injured form. He observed the ambulance arrive at the scene. The experience ended instantly when he was back in his body, looking up at paramedics who were asking him questions: "Can you hear me...don't move...where's it hurt?" The observations were entirely visual from an elevated perspective impossible from his physical position on the ground. Though paramedics confirmed his unconscious state, no formal verification of his aerial observations was obtained. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The out-of-body experience aligns with biblical descriptions of the spirit being distinct from the physical body (2 Corinthians 5:8, Ecclesiastes 12:7). The sudden return to the body parallels biblical accounts of resurrection or restoration to life. Unbiblical elements: None identified. The experience is limited to OBE observations without any theological claims or spiritual encounters that would contradict scripture.
