Bahman fell during a friendly fight and hit his head severely on the ground. The intense pain triggered an experience where he entered a black and white tunnel with images of deceased family members including parents and grandfather on the walls. His life events flashed by at incredible speed in a review that contained both peaceful and horrible moments. Time seemed distorted - the experience felt very long but lasted only 10-20 seconds. The tunnel eventually faded into absolute darkness before he gradually returned to awareness. He found two people nearby and learned he had been unconscious briefly. The experience left him with a strange peacefulness for hours afterward and strengthened his religious beliefs. Years later, the memory remains vivid and he gained certainty about God's existence and the afterlife, though the mix of peace and horror during the experience created complex emotions.
