Andrea experienced severe blood loss during childbirth in 1999. From the operating bed, she found herself looking down at her own body surrounded by numerous nurses and doctors, observing extensive blood loss. She was then pulled upward into the sky where, despite blurry vision, she witnessed amazing bright lights and colors before seeing a large building. At this structure, she was stopped and told it wasn't her time, then rushed back to wake up in recovery. The experience left her with reduced fear of death and strengthened belief in God and the afterlife. She sensed the presence of Jesus or an angel during the encounter and felt surrounded by love. The event reinforced her Christian faith and gave her certainty about the existence of heaven.
