Sheryl was 22 years old and struggling with finding meaning in life when she and a friend went to the river on St. Patrick's Day. Her friend began spinning the truck's tires on gravel, and despite Sheryl's warnings, did it again causing the truck to lose control. The vehicle fell end-over-end and crashed upside down. Sheryl experienced time stopping and was suddenly free from all troubles, feeling the love and acceptance she had always searched for. She felt this love everywhere - inside and outside of her - and realized she was perfect just as she was. She encountered tall male beings with long beards and white robes who told her she had to go back, that she was on the wrong path, and had to do what she was meant to do. She experienced revelations about being still herself after death and moving through barriers without restriction. When she returned, she had suffered a blow to her cheekbone, brain trauma, and had to relearn how to formulate thoughts and communicate. The experience gave her lasting peace and the understanding that worry is unnecessary, that we are exactly who we are supposed to be, and that we should trust in love.
