At age six, the experiencer was hit by a streetcar while crossing the street. After being hit, she felt very warm all over and wanted to stay cuddled up to the streetcar. She then found herself standing off to the side, observing the streetcar driver looking out his window at what she didn't realize was her own body, appearing as a clump of clothes. She watched many people run over to the scene. A man picked up her body and the crowd ran toward the school. Someone, possibly God or a guardian angel, told her she should go with them. She was suddenly next to the man carrying her body without knowing how she got there. The next memory is being in the arms of a first-grade nun who was comforting her as she cried into the nun's dress. Despite the traumatic accident, she experienced only minor injuries. The experience confirmed her belief in the soul/spirit occupying the body.
