She experienced a rapid life review where her past flashed before her out of her control, seeing and re-experiencing everything at incredible speed like fast-forwarding a movie, though she saw and experienced it all in her spirit. The most significant aspect was her encounter with Jesus, who told her it was not her time. She was having a tantrum about having to leave Jesus and fought hard not to go back into her broken body. She was extremely angry and upset about being forced to return against her will. The experience of being with Jesus was characterized by incredible peace, joy, and freedom from pain, making the return to her injured physical body particularly traumatic. Following the experience, Shana developed lasting panic attacks and struggled to understand why she was suffering after such a divine encounter. She later developed abilities to receive signs from deceased family members including her mother and sister. The experience transformed her from having slight religious importance to becoming a born-again Christian with greatly increased spiritual importance in her life. She continues to experience the unique smell from Heaven and has increased sensitivity to sensory input.
